قال الإمام الشافعي رحمه الله " قولي صحيح يحتمل الخطأ

لا تعني البادئة "ميكرو " ( micro = الدقيقة / المتناهية الصغر / الصغرية ) فى الموجات " الميكرو ويف " الاشارة إلى أن الطول الموجي يقع في النطاق الميكرومتري ولكنها تشير إلى أن الموجات " الميكرو ويف " صغيرة بالمقارنة بالموجات المستخدمة فى الارسال الإذاعي النموذجي ، ولذا فأطوالها الموجية أقصر .
